New Head Of Chambers And A New Senior Clerk

DR. ROGER SMITHERS
has been elected Head of Wessex Chambers.
He has also been appointed an approved Pupil Master.

The Members of Chambers are planning an organised expansion to provide a fuller and more comprehensive service to new and existing clients.

Under his leadership of Chambers there will be a reorganisation of the administration and a full review of client care leading to an application for the Quality Mark.

MR. PETER NIXON
has been appointed Senior Clerk of Wessex Chambers.

Mr. Nixon has been a Clerk since 1969, joining 1 Brick Court Chambers in London and moving on to Bristol as a Senior Clerk in 1985. He joined Wessex Chambers in November 2001.

He has been a Qualified Member of The Institute of Barristers Clerks since 1971 and is currently serving on their Management Comittee.

Both Dr. Smithers and Mr. Nixon are looking forward to the challenges and the changes ahead. This view is shared by all Members of Chambers.

Future issues of the Newsletter will give details of accredited seminars together with useful information which you will find useful.
