Introduction Wessex
Chambers have been providing a high quality, locally based service to
solicitors since it was established in Reading in 1995. Wessex Chambers provide a professional service to the highest standards combined with a user-friendly approach. We aim to supply the professional client with unrestricted access to Counsel and undertake to deal with paperwork promptly. Urgent written work can be prioritised and we regularly deal with emergency and other short notice Court appearances. It is 10 minutes walk from the station, the District Registry, the County Court, the Crown Court, Magistrates Court and the Employment Tribunal. We offer excellent conference facilities, although members are always willing to meet at any venue convenient to the client. There is parking available at the rear of the building. We posess a well stocked practicioner's library supplimented by access to law reports vie the Internet and on CD ROM. Chambers is equipped with e-mail and can electronically receive and transmit documents where this is required. We are also happy to provide work on disk. Seminars Chambers supplies speakers on a varied range of legal topics for seminars, including continuing professional education courses. These can be arranged either in-house or off-site.
