Five Bar
Five Bar gates are planed all round. Traditionally made, they are ideal for fields, driveways or for predestined access. There are various choices of design including the Diamond pattern gate, Kissing gate, Contractor gate and Entrance gate. These come with a choice of timber including pressure treated softwood, iroka and oak.
Featheredge
Featheredge gates are a mortised and tenanted framework. As standard they are produced using pressure treated softwood and are ideal for matching featheredge fencing.
Palisade
Palisade gates are a heavy duty gate made from pressure treated and planed softwood and constructed using an 'A' frame. They can have various sizes of boards attached, usually with a 25mm (1 inch) gap to allow wind to pass through. They are available with a choice of round or flat tops.
Picket
Picket gates are constructed using an 'A' frame to which individual pickets are attached. With a choice of flat, pointed or round tops they are planed all round.
Tongue and Groove
Tongue and Groove gates (T&G) are another heavy duty gate mounted on an 'A' frame with 'V' join tongue and groove boards. They are available in a choice of rounded or flat tops.
