Hardware Maintenance

Our computer maintenance service covers almost everything to do with the health of your computer. The majority of calls fall into one of of the following categories:
 Hardware Upgrade
Many of our clients are not very confident at adding and setting up a new piece of equipment such as a new printer, graphics card or network card etc. As our associates are all IT professionals, they can normally do this for you in no time at all.
 Hardware Repair
Replacing a damaged piece of equipment is not too difficult but finding out which part is damaged can be tricky even for the professionals. If you have a small network then the problem can be even harder to find. Many of our associates will have a selection of basic spare parts available but sometimes two visits may be required, firstly to find the fault then secondly to replace the appropriate part. Any replacement parts are charged at cost.
 Software Upgrade
As software becomes increasing easy to install, this service is being used less and less but we are still happy to visit you to install software if you really want us to.
 Virus Removal
Viruses are a major threat to your organisation if you rely on your computer(s). We cannot stress enough the importance of having a good internet security program that is regularly updated. Within the association most of our members are very familiar with removing viruses and their knowledge and experience is available to both clients and other associates alike.
 System Rebuild
It is quite fitting that this service follows virus removal. If you ignore a virus for too long then you will probably need one. However you may just want to upgrade your operating system to something newer. A complete system rebuild will normally take 4-8 hours and any of our associates will be able to do this for you without any difficulty.

Our maintenance service is only available to clients where we have a nearby associate. This is because of the cost of traveling and the competition of local computer shops. However, we can provide advice for clients from anywhere. Our system maintenance contract simply means that you will get the fastest possible on-site response for the lowest possible price. Quite simply, you pay for parts and labour only when you need them and there is no standing charge. Our response time is normally within eight working hours of the original call. The only thing we do not do is supply equipment. However, we keep our ears to the ground and we can normally advise you on the best equipment for your needs and where you can get a good deal from. If you have a question that is even remotely associated with computers then contact your local associate. Because of our honesty policy the worst you can expect from your associate is a comment that they have no idea but that they will pass the question on to the association to see if anyone else knows.
